TransportMate runs the whole movement for UK vehicle transport operators — from the job landing in the system, through dispatch, inspection and proof, to the invoice reaching your accounts package. One workflow, one record per job.
Transport management software is the system an operator uses to plan, run and record transport work in one place. Instead of a spreadsheet for the job board, a phone for photographs, a message thread for driver updates and an accounts package for the invoice, the work lives as one record that moves through the operation with it.
A movement usually starts as a quote. When the customer accepts it, the quote becomes a job carrying the same customer, vehicle, route and price, so nothing is typed twice. The job is scheduled and allocated to a driver, who sees it in the driver app with the vehicle details, addresses and instructions.
At collection the driver completes a guided vehicle inspection, photographing the vehicle and recording any existing damage, and takes a signature from whoever releases it. That produces the proof of collection. While the vehicle is in transit the office can follow progress and the customer can be given a delivery tracking link.
At the destination the matching delivery inspection and receiving signature produce the proof of delivery, issued as an electronic POD PDF alongside the vehicle condition report for each end of the movement. Completion then feeds invoicing.
