Everything the driver needs on the device they already carry.
Drivers do not fill in software. They stand next to a vehicle, often in bad weather, usually in a hurry, and need to record what they are looking at without a training course.
The TransportMate driver app is built around that reality: a clear job list, a guided inspection, and a workflow that keeps working when the signal does not.
The jobs assigned to them, with the vehicle, addresses and instructions.
A guided walk-round with photographs and damage recording.
Signed on the device by the person releasing the vehicle.
The matching record at the destination, with a receiving signature.
The full inspection can be completed with no connection and uploads later automatically.
Communication with the office without a separate channel.
The inspection is a step-by-step flow rather than a long form. Photographs are taken inside the app so they land against the right vehicle without anyone matching them up afterwards, and the driver is prompted through the same points every time so nothing is quietly skipped.
Work in progress is held on the device. The driver can finish the inspection, take the signature and move to the next job. When connectivity returns, the photographs and records upload on their own — there is nothing for the driver to remember to do, and nothing to redo.
Can drivers complete POC/POD from a phone?
Yes. The full collection and delivery workflow, including photographs and signatures, is completed in the driver app on a phone or tablet.
Does the driver app work without an internet connection?
Yes. Inspections, photographs, damage records and signatures can be captured offline and synchronise automatically once a connection is available.
Can customers sign electronically?
Yes. Signatures are captured on the driver's device at collection and at delivery and form part of the proof record.
Do drivers see financial information?
No. Drivers are kept separate from invoicing and financial detail; they see the work they need to complete.
The quickest way to judge a driver app is to let a driver use it on a real job.
