While a vehicle is en route, customers can be sent a shareable tracking link. It shows the driver's live location and an estimated arrival time, and opens in a normal web browser — the customer does not need a TransportMate account.
At collection and delivery, the inspection, photographs, digital signature, time and location are turned into POC and POD documents automatically, as PDFs that can be sent to the customer. Those records stay connected to the vehicle movement, so the proof for a particular job is always found in the same place.
Completed movements flow into invoicing rather than being re-typed. Invoices can be produced in TransportMate and synced with Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent.
